NCME is proud to announce the availability of five (5) $1500 Travel Scholarships for doctoral students from underrepresented ethnic minority groups to present papers at the 2024 NCME Annual Meeting in Philadelphia. Applicants must be NCME members who are presenting authors of a paper accepted for presentation and are African American, Latino/a, and/or Native American.
Eligible applicants should fill out and submit the application below. As part of this application, you must include a copy of your accepted proposal and the acceptance email/letter from the conference co-chairs for which you are the presenting author.
The application deadline is February 1, 2024. Applications will be reviewed until all funds are exhausted.
Travel funds may be used for lodging and meals/incidentals in addition to air and/or ground transportation. You are required to submit a brief report on your activities and a detailed accounting of your funding use to the NCME Committee on Diversity Issues in Testing (CODIT) within 30 days of the close of the Annual Meeting. Failure to do so may disqualify you from future funding through this Program.
